Janus efterlyste besynderligt nok nogle gift... her er et uddrag af de typiske gifte der bruges i Arvandor og reglerne for hvordan vi spiller med dem... priserne er højere end priserne i bogen, men den er også mega lav... cyanid coster det samme som en pil ?!?!?!

Rockblood Poison: (veri Sangrepiedra)
Delivery: Ingestion.
Detection: Smell/taste -3
Delay: Onset after a failed HT roll. Roll each 24 hours after ingestion with a daily cumulative -1 penalty to the roll.
Effect: 10 cycles of 24 hour intervals. Roll against HT-3 or suffer 2d-1 toxic damage at each cycle. Sideeffects include loss of hair and nails and bleaching of the skin. Also gives the Unhealing disadvantage until the poison has run its course. Victims who have survived Rockblood poison becomes ugly as a result of the white spotted skin and patchy baldness
Antidote: No known antidote.
Origins: Comes from certains rocks found and mined only in the southern Impire.
Rarity: Extremely Scarce
Cost: 1000+

Scarlet-root poison: (Veri Arrel Escarlata)
Delivery: Ingestion.
Detection: +3 to vision and smell (because of red colour and acrid smell, except in red wine where it is at -3).
Delay: Onset after HT-5 seconds.
Effect: 9 cycles of 30 second intervals. Roll against HT or suffer 2d-1 toxin damage to bloody diarrhea.
Antidote: Normal digestion-balancing medication gives a +2 to resist the poisons damage.
Origins: Comes from the Scarletleaf oak, which is quite common in Arvandor.
Rarity: Common.
Cost: 15-25/dose.

Spinefish Poison: (Veri Peix fortificat)
Delivery: Follow-up.
Delay: No delay.
Effect: Roll against HT-5 the first time you are affected by the poison. If you succeed you gain a perk (immune to Spinefish poison) if you fail you get a quirk (succeptible to spinefish poison). The poison causes seizure for minutes equal to your margin of failure and the same amount of cycles of 1 minute intervals of 1d-2 toxic damage each with no HT roll to resist. In addition you suffer -4 to all DX and IQ rolls and related skill checks.
Antidote: If treated with very hot (causing 1d-1 burn damage, apply only once) wrappings the subject gets a HT-2 roll to resist the poisons damage on each cycle.
Origins: Originates from the Spinefish, which is a deepsea fish, rare and difficult to catch

Cost: 100-150/dose

White-cherry Poison: (Veri Cirerer Blanc)
Delivery: Ingestion
Detection: -1 to taste (completely colour or odourless and impossible to detect with other means than taste)
Delay: 30 seconds.
Effect: 3 cycles of 8 hour intervals. Roll against HT or suffer from Retching and 1d-2 toxin damage. On a success you suffer no damage and an affliction akin to Drunk.
Antidote: No known antidote.
Origins: comes from the berries of the common white-cherry tree.
Rarity: Uncommon.
Cost: 30-50/dose.

Black-toad venom or Toadspittle: (Veri Granota Negre)
Delivery: follow-up
Delay: 5 seconds.
Effect: 1 cycle. Roll against HT-2 or suffer 3d toxin damage and is Paralyzed for minutes equal to the margin of failure, on a success you suffer 1d-1 toxin damage and suffer from twitching (-2 to DX and all DX-related rolls)
Antidote: Bleeding the wound gives a HT+2 roll to resist instead of HT-2, but because of the very short delay is rarely done. Bleeding the wound causes 1d-1 cutting damage to the poisoned hit location.
Origins: comes from the poisonous Black-toad, which is quite rare and only found in the marches southwest of Arvandor city
Rarity: Scarce.
Cost: 80-100/dose.

Red Opeth: (Opeth Vermell)
Delivery: Ingestion or Respiratory agent
Detection: impossible
Delay: 1 minute as Ingestion and 5 seconds as a respiratory agent
Effect: Ingestive agent: 2 cycles of 15 second intervals. Roll againts HT-5 or suffer 4d toxic damage and seizures.
Respiratory agent: 5 cycles of 1 minute intervals. Roll against HT-2 or suffer 1d+2 damage and choking. The HT roll is at -5 if you stay in the poisoned area.
Antidote: No antidote as a ingestive agent, but eating Hemlock seeds causes the poison to take an additional cycle. Breathing camille fumes gives a HT roll instead of HT-2 to avoid damage and choking when affected from a respiratory agent. Is often mistaken for Purple Opeth, when administered as an ingestive agent.
Origins: Comes from the very rare Red Opeth flower.
Rarity: Extremely Scarce.
Cost: 7-1000/dose.

Purple Opeth: (Opeth Porpra)
Delivery: Ingestion
Detection: -4
Delay: 5 minutes
Effect: 2 cycles of 1 minute intervals. Roll againts HT-3 or suffer 3d toxic damage and seizures.
Antidote: Eating Hemlock seeds gives a unmodified HT roll instead of a HT-3 roll. Is often mistaken for Red Opeth
Origins: comes from the quite rare Purple Opeth flower
Rarity: Scarce.
Cost: 150-250/dose

Stingwing Venom:(Veri Picada Lala)
Delivery: follow-up
Delay: 3 seconds.
Effect: 6 cycles of 1 hour intervals. Suffer from severe pain until 1 hour after the poison has ended. Roll against HT-2 on a success the poison is overcome and no more cycles takes effect. Suffer 1 toxin damage on a failure and continue to work out cycles as normal.
Antidote: No known antidote.
Origins: Comes from the huge Stingwing dragonfly native to southern Stohl and Colovere and most of the Empire.
Rarity: Uncommon.
Cost: 30-50/dose

Common wolfbane: (Llop Comu)
Delivery: Ingestion
Detection: -1
Delay: 30 minutes
Effect: 8 cycles of 30 minute intervals with a HT-3 roll to resist 1d+1 toxic damage. Also causes spasms (-4 to DX and DX-related rolls).
Antidote: Milk (a pint) make the roll HT-1 instead of HT-3 to resist the damage.
Origins: A common weed. A dose requires approximately 5 lbs of fresh leaves.
Rarity: Common.
Cost: 10-15/dose

Grave-beetle residue or Gravecall (Residus Escarabat Greus)
Delivery: contact agent
Delay: 15 minute delay
Effect: The victim suffer from hemophilia disadvantage for a number of days equal to 18-HT. Each day a bloody rash appears on a random hitlocation causing 1d-4 damage. These rashes are susceptible to the rules for bleeding as described under the Hemophilia disadvantage.

Effect: HT-3 to resist 1d+1 toxic damage and becomes physically stunned. Recovery from stunning follow the normal rules
Origins: Comes from the common Grass viper common in all of Arvandor and the baronies
Rarity: Uncommon.
Cost: 20-30/dose.

Short Goldleaf or Dream-well (Padora Curt)
Delivery: Ingestion or respiratory agent
Delay: 10 seconds as a ingestion agent and 1 minute as an respiratory agent.
Effect: Ingestion agent: 5 cycles of 10 second intervals. roll against HT or become unconscious for minutes equal to the margin of failure. Once knocked out no futher rolls are requires. Causes Coma on a critical failure.
Respiratory agent: roll against HT-2 or becomes drowsy for hours equal to the margin of failure.
Origins: comes from the leaves of the Short Goldleaf bush.
Rarity: Uncommon.
Cost: 30-50/dose.
